Vesey Strikes Twice Against Bruins

Jimmy Vesey scored two first-period goals in a span of 29 seconds to help the Rangers (8-7-2, 18 points) extend their season-long winning streak to five games.

Vesey became the second player in 2017-18 to score a pair of goals in a span of 30 seconds or less, joining Avalanche forward Alexander Kerfoot (0:21), who accomplished the feat on Nov. 5, 2017 at NYI.

His quick strikes marked just the fifth time since 2001-02 that a Rangers player scored a pair of goals in 30 seconds or less and first since Jaromir Jagr (0:26) on Nov. 14, 2006.
