Folk-pop band, A Fellow Ship, are thrilled to have shared their brand new EP, The Black Sheep – released on September 30th. After finishing their Eastern Canadian tour, which wrapped on the EP release day with a lively Toronto show at the Horseshoe Tavern, the band is excited to hit a hometown stage again – this time taking to the Baby G for a show on October 28th.
A Fellow Ship is a 7-piece collective from Toronto. Their long time camaraderie and combined love for music and good company has evolved into a mighty clash of folk, pop, jazz, funk, and soul, leaving nothing but dancing in it’s wake. The band released their self-titled debut EP in June 2015.
A Fellow Ship is Joe Dent (guitar, vocals), Forest Van Winkle (vocals), Jack Stone (mandolin, guitar, vocals), Teddy Liptay (keyboard), Tristan Schultz (bass), Ryan Johnston (drums), and Austin Jones (trumpet). Their latest EP also features John Nicholson (saxophone). Recorded at Marquee Sound in Toronto, The Black Sheep EP was produced by award winning producer, John Switzer.
