The Cavs May Be The Monstars After All

Celtics star Isaiah Thomas made the statement that he didn’t think the Cleveland Cavaliers were the ‘Monstars’ from the popular 90’s movie Space Jam. The comments came after the lopsided win on Wednesday night when they lost in Game 1, 117-104.
“I believe in these guys. We’re not scared of Cleveland. They’re not the Monstars. They’re not on Space Jam. They lace up their shoes just like us. They just happened to play better than us in Game 1.We just gotta protect home court in Game 2 and get the win.”
Well…. it seems like Cavaliers may be more like the Monstars than Isaiah thinks and they don’t have Michael Jordan on their team or ‘Michael’s Secret Stuff’ that helped the ‘toons and Jordan win the game.
On Friday night the Celtics were embarrassed on home court losing by a record 130-86. LeBron became the first played since MJ with 30+ points in 8 straight NBA Playoffs games after sinking 30 on Friday night. After the game said “We can play better”. If that’s the case…… Celtics fans may want to keep their TV’s off for game 3.

Here are a few records set in Game 2:
-Largest halftime lead in NBA postseason history
-Worst home loss in Celtics postseason history
-Worst loss by a 1-seed in NBA postseason history
-Largest win by any team in Eastern Conference Finals history
-Largest win in Cavaliers postseason history.
