On September 28, 2017, for one night only, Cineplex Events will give audiences the chance to hear the final word from the greatest metal band of all time. With Black Sabbath: The End of the End, fans witness the band’s incredible finale for themselves, all from the comfort of their local Cineplex theatre.
On February 4, 2017, Black Sabbath stormed the stage in their hometown of Birmingham, England, to play their 81st and final triumphant gig of “The End” tour, concluding the band’s over 40 year career. The film chronicles this final tour and brings fans the up close and personal story of the final, emotionally-charged concert, as the band performs hits including Iron Man, Paranoid,War Pigs and many more. Audiences can join Sabbath in the studio, as they deliver unique and exclusive performances of some of their favourite songs not played on the tour, and catch an intimate glimpse into the band’s world, the music, relationships and banter, along with personal anecdotes from Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler.
Filmed by director Dick Carruthers (Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day, Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Live), Black Sabbath: The End of the End is the ultimate audio-visual experience that must be seen on the big screen, in surround sound. The film also features behind the scenes footage of the band in-studio as they deliver exclusive performances of tracks that haven’t seen the light of day in over forty years.
