Leading up to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final the NHL was asking fans to guess the mystery artist that was going to sing the National Anthem. They already had Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan and a long line of other country music stars sing it in the playoffs. It was finally revealed that Grammy Award winning artist Faith Hill was going to sing the final anthem at Bridgestone Arena this season. Of course ….. the Internet reacted:
Some hated it…typical:
She sounded like a bad karaoke singer and Tim Mcgraw looked idiotic

But for the most part Faith Hill won over sports fans..and some famous friends:
@git_r_dunn13 lost a bet had to wear this Aggie cap for the day. It could sure be worse. RD https://t.co/KAapPSGtCD

This dude was really excited:
Faith Hill brought so much heat that the Preds have already won Game 6 and Nashville is now America’s capital

But the tweet of the night goes to this twitter user:
Wow awkward moment as Faith Hill starts to dedicate “Breathe” to Sidney Crosby and P.K. Subban and the Predators PR team dragged her away.
