Dubnyk Records Third Consecutive Shutout

Nino Niederreiter scored 12 seconds into the game and Devan Dubnyk turned aside all 30 shots he faced to lead the Wild to victory and record his third consecutive shutout, the second time he has achieved that feat in his career (also Oct. 25-29, 2016).

* Elias notes that Dubnyk became the third goaltender in the League’s expansion era (since 1967-68) to post three consecutive shutouts multiple times in his NHL career, joining Brian Elliott (3x) and Roberto Luongo (2x).

* Dubnyk, who paces all goaltenders with three shutouts this season, leads the NHL with 18 shutouts since his first appearance with the Wild on Jan. 15, 2015. Dubnyk recently passed Dwayne Roloson (15) for sole possession of second on the franchise’s all-time shutouts list, trailing only Niklas Backstrom (28) for the most in Wild history.
