DeBrincat Records First Career Hat Trick In Blackhawks Victory

Alex DeBrincat (3-1—4) scored three of Chicago’s seven goals to record the first hat trick of his NHL career and guide theBlackhawks to a 5-1-1 record in their last seven games.

* Elias notes that DeBrincat (19 years, 344 days) became the second-youngest player in franchise history to score a hat trick, behind Jeremy Roenick (19 years, 340 days) on Dec. 23, 1989 at TOR.

* DeBrincat ranks third among all rookies with 10 goals overall this season, trailing only Arizona’s Clayton Keller and Vancouver’s Brock Boeser (both w/ 11). DeBrincat led the OHL with 65 goals as a member of the Erie Otters in 2016-17.
