Capitals’ Wilson Suspended Two Preseason Games for Interference

The NHL had already issued a two game suspension just days into the pre-season. On Saturday Washington Capitols Tom Wilson found out he is out two preseason games for a late hit on St. Louis Blues Forward Robert Thomas during Friday nights game.

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has been suspended for two preseason games for interference against St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas during NHL Preseason Game No. 46 in Washington on Friday, Sept. 22, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today. The incident occurred at 5:47 of the third period.
