Brock Boeser scored twice – his fourth consecutive game with a goal and fifth with a point (6-1—7) – to take over the rookie scoring lead (11-10—21) and help the Canucks record their eighth road win of the season, tied for the most in the NHL (w/ STL).
* Boeser is the first rookie to score in four consecutive team games in 2017-18; four rookies achieved the feat last season, led by Pittsburgh’s Jake Guentzel and Toronto’s Auston Matthews who each had five-game goal streaks. Only one rookie in Canucksfranchise history has scored in more than four consecutive team games – Dennis Ververgaert had a six-game goal streak in 1973-74 (8-2—10).
* Elias notes that Boeser became the fourth rookie in franchise history to score multiple goals in consecutive team games. NoCanucks rookie has ever scored multiple goals in three consecutive games.
